|
| The materials module is versatile and a useful adjuct
to product design and cost estimating. Store
data for all kinds of materials such as plastics, composites,
adhesives, resins, fillers, metals, construction materials, components, etc.
Information such as properties, costs, dimensions, features, uses, graphs, etc. can be
stored. You can also store trouble shooting information.
Search on all key attributes. Print quality data sheets with
your logo. |

| Top | This view is used to select materials. You can view subsets based on material category, generic name, supplier, and user defined filters. Plot property and comparison (property, specific property, specific cost property) graphs. Define formulations for a material using other materials. |

| Top | In the compare window you can see materials side by side. You select which materials to show in the columns. View only the properties you want by tagging them. Change between US and SI units at the press of a button. Print up to four columns of material properties. |

| Top | This is a material comparison report. You can have up to 4 columns. Another report prints a professional looking datasheet for any given material. |

| Top | This window shows corrosion data for materials. It mimics the layout of corrosion guides provided by major resin producers. On the next tab you can see all the materials for a given corrosive. Press a button and change from deg F to deg C. |

| Top | Define a formulation for a selected material using other materials in the database. Define sides (A, B etc) and specify phr or % weight. Compute specific gravity and unit cost of compound. Print volume, weight contents. Enter lbs to formulate and get printout of formulation with component weights. Compare different formulations for cost and specific cost. |
