| Store unlimited corrosion data and use temperatures for materials You can store data (numeric and text) such as use temperature and ratings for all materials in unlimited corrosion environments. The environments are also stored in a database.View data just as displayed in thermoset resin manufacturer corrosion guides. Ask them to provide data on disks that you can easily access by changing the folder used for materials data. |

| The corrosion database is a subset of the materials database. When
a material is defined, the user can enter corrosion data with each dataset consisting of
corrosive, use temperature, and corrosion test data. The corrosion browse is used to view
corrosion data and select materials. You can view use temperatures in °C or °F at the
press of a button. The corrosion browse shows corrosives in list rows along with use temperatures for the materials selected in the columns. Tagsets can be used to identify sets of corrosives. For example if you know that a certain set of chemicals are present in a paper manufacturing plant, you can tag these chemicals and store in a tagset. Later, you can recall the tagset and view only those chemicals. For each corrosive, the user can tab to another page a see a list of all the materials for which there is data. On this list, the user can tag selected materials and store in a tagset. Thus, one can build collections of materials that are suited to certain sets of chemical environments. A unique feature is that the list also shows corrosion data for components of a
corrosive chemical mixture and also data for mixtures than contain a given component. For
example if a corrosive mixture of chromic acid:sulfuric acid is highlighted, you will be
shown materials usage data for chromic acid and sulfuric acid if such data exists. |
